I invite you to connect to your inner wisdom, to light the path to your truest self, and navigate an authentically happy life. I offer 75 minute individual therapy sessions for adolescents (14 years+) and adults as well as couples therapy sessions.
My therapeutic lens combines cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) with somatic based therapies such as sensorimotor psychotherapy and natural processing as well as emotion focused therapy (EFT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)
Philosophy
At times throughout our lives we may struggle with accepting experiences as they unfold in the moment. We may be unable to see things for what they are, to let go of how we would like them to be. We may stress about the past and future and become entangled in feelings of depression, anxiety, anger, resentment, and shame.
Once effective patterns of doing may interfere with the simplicity of being, preventing us from living authentic to our truest self. Our relationship with ourselves suffers, directly impacting the quality of our relationships with others. With the support of a therapist, we may discover and connect to our truth, grow our awareness, and live with an anchored soul.
It takes courage to grow up and turn out to be who you really are. To be nobody but yourself in a world that is doing its best to make you somebody else is to fight the hardest battle you are ever going to fight. Never stop fighting.
